What Is Georgia Pediatric Program

Georgia Pediatric Program

GAPP (Georgia Pediatric Program) is a Medicaid program that provides services to medically fragile children in need of skilled nursing care with NO COST to the family. Services are provided in their homes and communities.

In-Home Program

The Georgia Pediatric In-Home Nursing Program services medically fragile children, under 21 years of age. Children must require skilled nursing care and currently be receiving physician-ordered services to be considered eligible for this program.

Medicaid & Katie Beckett

GAPP Services comes at NO COST to members of Medicaid or Katie Beckett. The Katie Beckett Waiver takes the parent’s income out of the picture and bases the decision on the child’s needs.

Under the GAPP Program we provide Skilled Nursing Care, Personal Care Assistance, ADL Services, Mobility Assistance, G-Tube, Catheter Care, Respiratory Treatment, and Much More.

You Have Options

GAPP Approval
  • We come out to your home to sign consent paperwork and to gather other required information
  • EYL Health uploads paperwork to GAPP (GAPP has up to 30 days to approve)
  • EYL Health recieves decision from GAPP
  • EYL Health contacts you to schedule the Start of Care or to discuss Appeal Process
Private Insurance
  • Contact EYL Health with insurance information to check Private Duty Nursing benefits/eligibility
  • Prior Authorization process is started
  • EYL Health contacts you to schedule the Start of Care

Katie Beckett
